Who Group are a leading Australian HR Consultancy. They serve corporate customers and provide insights into company culture by measuring the levels of engagement, trust and motivation within a company’s workforce

Their online offering began as a new startup amongst some heavy hitting incumbents. They turned to Alliance to help them develop innovative technology to both disrupt and stand out.

The Challenge

We faced a range of challenges in developing the Who Group platform.

• Data Collection

  The system needed to collect large survey volumes from thousands of staff simultaneously across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms.

• Data Management & Reporting

  We needed to provide both online and print ready PDF reporting at every level of the organisation from the CEO down. We were also required to show year on year trend comparisons. For premium clients, Who Group’s Organisational Psychologists also needed the capacity to add tailored insights and recommendations.

• Privacy & Security

  In order to encourage honest staff feedback we needed to create a platform people trusted and knew couldn’t be used to identify them personally without consent.

Our Approach

To make the streams of data from the surveys digestible and insightful to clients we worked closely with Who Group to bring them to life with dynamic reporting and beautiful visuals. These visuals really helped clients understand their strengths and weaknesses and come up with decisive action plans to improve their workplaces.

In addition, a number of measures were deployed to protect the security and privacy of individuals. For example, the platform identifies search queries that could expose the responses of one or a small group of people.

The Results

Who Group now have a sophisticated platform providing key cultural insights for their clients. The software has been implemented in six countries and it is used by dozens of multinationals. The system has been a prime reason for Who Group’s success.
